TPT Committed to Moving Forward
If you’re not moving forward, you will soon find yourself left behind. The members of TPT know the importance of education and research and have made a commitment to support applied research and demonstration programs by establishing a grant program. Each year, TPT issues Request for Proposals (RFP) to interested persons and makes funds available for funding worthy studies. Since 2002, grants totaling $16,975.00 have been awarded to fund studies on herbicides, water use and conservation in urban residential landscapes, soil additives, sod production farm tours and an economic analysis of Texas sod production.
The grant program is funded by the generosity of TPT members at the Annual Conference each year. Silent and live auctions are conducted during the evening activities from items donated by producers and businesses.
