Executive Director of Turfgrass Producers International to Address Texas Producers

T. Kirk Hunter is the Executive Director of Turfgrass Producers International (TPI).  Kirk served TPI as the Education and Meetings Manager before being promoted to Executive Director.  Growing up on a crop and beef cattle farm in Illinois, Kirk has always been actively involved in the agriculture industry.  Prior to taking a position at TPI, he had worked in many aspects of agriculture including ag machinery, ag buildings and ag chemicals.  He attended the University of Illinois where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Agronomy and a Masters of Science degree in Education.  He worked for the University of Illinois Horticulture Department on turfgrass disease programs and development of turf-related curriculum materials.   Kirk currently resides in Crystal Lake, IL with his wife Lori and son Talon.
