Second Annual Donation Given
Texas Sod and Progressive Turf Equipment presented TPT with a check for $1,000.00 at their annual conference in Bay City on February 1st.
Billy Mayfield, TPT President, gratefully accepted the donation from Tami Bolton and Chance Stone of Texas Sod Leasing in Bay City. The funds will be used to promote the sod industry and to help with a number of research projects that are underway. TPT is currently working with San Antonio Water System on a Drought Tolerance Study as well as funding several other research projects.
Chance Stone is currently serving as a director of TPT and is dedicated to working to advance and improve the sod industry in Texas. TPT is a 501(c)(6) organization and is the trade association for turfgrass producers in Texas.
